KNORR South East Asian Spice Paste 600g | 0.1tbsp |

Satay Goreng Preparation
Beef, sliced | 100g |
Red Sugar | 10g |
KNORR Rock Sugar Honey Sauce 3kg | 10ml |
Coriander Seeds, dry roasted and coarsely grounded | 0.2tbsp |
Fennel Seeds, dry roasted and coarsely grounded | 0.2tbsp |
White Pepper Powder | 0.05tbsp |
Preparation
Paste Preparation
1. In a food processor, blend garlic, ginger, galangal, lemongrass, and south-east asian spice paste into a coarse paste. Add in water as needed.
2. Transfer the paste to a mixing bowl, together with all the satay ingredients. Mix to coat well and marinate for a minimum of 2 hours. For optimum result, let it sit in the fridge overnight.
Satay Goreng Preparation
1. Skewer beef strips on bamboo skewers and grill over indirect charcoal heat for approximately 2-3 minutes on each side. Bast the skewers with oil constantly until the morsels are cooked.
2. Heat up oil in a cast iron skillet and sauté the marinated beef satay over high heat for about 2 minutes. Add in lime leaves and lower to medium heat. Flip the satay over to prevent the sugar from burning..
